The Washington Rare Book Group invites you to join us for

A Tour of the Walters Conservation Lab

Annette Ortiz, a Conservation Scientist at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, has agreed to take us behind the scenes of their Conservation and Technical Research department, which is the third oldest museum laboratory in the country. Although not a part of the event, attendees will be welcome to visit the museum (which is free!) after our tour concludes.

This event is limited to 12 people, with priority for dues-paying members of WRBG.

Directions: The Walters Art Museum is located at 600 N. Charles St.in downtown Baltimore. The museum has a dedicated parking lot, which is directly across the street at 600 Cathedral St. (see here for additional information, including public transit information).

NOTE: the WRBG will not be providing transportation to Baltimore for this event, but we are happy to help arrange carpools. Please contact Hannah Jones at 50jonesh@gmail.com if you either need to find a ride or have space in your car to bring another person.

We hope you will join us!
