The US Naval Observatory Library is offering a paid internship opportunity for MLIS students. As one of the foremost astronomical collections in the country, the Observatory Library is located on the beautiful grounds of the US Naval Observatory. Prospective interns can expect to expand their skill-set by working with 19th century archival groups, collection management, circulation, and cataloging. To receive funding, applicants must be enrolled in an MLIS program. Otherwise, volunteer and internship for credit applicants are welcome.
